Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Linterx collects, why, and who we share it with. We collect the minimum needed to run your account, subscription, and the apps you use.

• Account data: your email, optional name, and password (stored hashed).
• Subscription data: which plan/apps you subscribe to and their status.
• Usage for licensing & AI: the app and request metadata needed to check entitlements and meter AI usage.
• Technical data: basic logs and error reports to keep the Service reliable.

Payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record. Your card details are entered on Polar’s secure checkout and are not stored by Linterx. We receive only the subscription status and non-sensitive identifiers needed to grant access.

• Polar — payments, invoicing, and tax (Merchant of Record).
• Google — optional “Sign in with Google” (we receive your email and name).
• Resend — transactional email (e.g. password reset).
• Sentry — error monitoring to fix crashes (error-only).
• Our hosting provider — to run the servers and store your account data.

We use a secure, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in on the website. The launcher uses a signed token stored locally on your machine. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep account data while your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us. Some records (e.g. invoices) may be retained where required by law.
